Byzantine chanting.  What does all this mean?  It means it's time to Be Greek! And Being Greek means relishing the world around you and enjoying life to its fullest.

Welcome to the 2010 "Agora Greek Festival" Greater Philadelphias premier authentic Greek Cultural festival, where the tradition of our Greek beliefs, the best food this side of the Acropolis, delicious wines and great entertainment are celebrated.  Our festival gives us the opportunity to proclaim our GREEK AMERICAN HERITAGE, open our arms, our hearts and our culture as we share our culture with you!

The Agora Greek Festival signature event kicks off with all-day festivals of food, wine, music, dance and song. The weekend-long festival is an annual initiative of the St Thomas Greek Orthodox Church in Cherry Hill, NJ which, every October, stages a number of events that represent the Greek way of life and shares our rich cultural and artistic heritage.

THURSDAY OCT. 7, GREEK-AMERICAN MEDITERRANEAN NIGHT OPENS 7pm

                         MEDITERRANEAN "LIVE" CULTURAL SHOW  

                         
SHOW EVENT $20.00 - STUDENTS: FREE with I.D.

THURSDAY NIGHT OCT. 7TH - Event # 2 starts at 10:00 pm sharp after the CULTURE SHOW a first of its kind event the GREEK AMERICAN IDOL Karaoke.

FRIDAY OCT. 8TH ACROPOLIS DANCE PARTY: In the ultimate atmosphere and under a state-of-the-art span tent discover the best dance and party music Greece has to offer. Don't miss this event. Sample the vibrant night life of the Athens and dance to rhythms of the hottest tracks from over 20 superstars of Greece by the best Greek DJs and Live Bands this side of Athens Experience Acropolis Dance Party.

SATURDAY OCT. 9TH BOUZOUKI PARTY: A celebration of the "BOUZOUKI" will be a night to remember. This is the hottest event with live Greek and American music. Greek culture is manifested in the national instrument of Greece, the "BOUZOUKI" a stringed instrument similar to the mandolin that will take center stage. So make sure to WINE, DINE and DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY.

SUNDAY OCT 10TH KEFI GREEK MUSIC FESTIVAL: HAPPY HOUR food and drinks between 2pm and 4pm After your meal the real fun gets under way. You are invited to join in the dancing and singing with Live Greek music from our resident bands and DJs.

With the 2010 Agora Greek Festival, our vision to create an experience that offers traditional and contemporary Greek cuisine and entertainment is realized. The cuisine showcases aromas, flavor and simplicity with fresh ingredients in big portions of Mousaka,  Pastichio , Souvlakia, or Gyros, and deserts like Loukoumades and Baklava. To know these Greek delicacies is to love to eat them. Count on plenty of food-at and make sure to visit the Greek Wine Cellar tent and YiaYia's Kitchen in the Hellenic Community Center . Festival hours, 11am to 2 am.
